Winners of the Monthly £10 Competition – sponsored by Church of Maradona Tartan Army

July – (after a 3-way tie-break) was Scunnered101. We thank him for donating his £10 prize money back to Sunshine Appeal funds.

August – with 22 points in the month, the winner is Ghostzapper. We thank him for donating his £10 prize money back to Sunshine Appeal funds.

September – with 21 points scored in the month, the winner is sgaggyaggy. We thank him for donating his £10 prize money back to Sunshine Appeal funds.

October – After a tie break question, Ghostzapper has won the October prize.

November – with an impressive 20 points, madjambo is the winner of November’s prize

December – due to a major administrative fail, there will be no December winner. The following rule has been invoked “The Sunshine Appeal accepts no responsibility if the Clydesdale Bank Score Selector fails – or for anything else bad.” Apologies. January’s winner will receive £20.

January’s winner, a full five points ahead of second place, scoring 26 points is Cowboy Ken. Due to last month’s SNAFU, Cowboy Ken wins £20 courtesy of Church of Maradona Tartan Army. We thank him for donating his winnings back to Sunshine Appeal funds. He’s not a bad brother-in-law – for an Irishman!!

February’s winner after a tie-breaker between Cove Sheep and Jim Schmidt’s Eleven was Jim Schmidt’s Eleven. And thank you to him for donating his £10 winnings back to the Sunshine Appeal.

March’s winner with 25 points is A Wee Morgan’s – congratulations! And thank you for donating your winnings back to the Sunshine Appeal.

April’s winner after a tie-break question was min. And thank you to him for donating his winnings back to the Sunshine Appeal.

May’s winner, and the final monthly winner of the competition sponsored by the Church of Maradona Tartan Army, was Hannanite who scored a remarkable 13 points in a very short month. Well done.

One extra point is available for correctly naming the winners of the Scottish Cup. Only the_wolf_1980 can gain a point because he nominated Hearts. No-one else opted for Hibs or Hearts.

Entry Fee and Prize Money

The entry fee for this 10-month long competition is £15.

The accumulated money will be split 50% to Sunshine Appeal funds, 25% to the winner, 15% to the second-placed and 10% to the third.

In addition, each monthly highest scorer will win £10 – sponsored by the Church of Maradona Tartan Army.

There may, or may not be, additional one-off prizes sponsored by other Tartan Army Clubs.

Please ensure that you include your (real) name and league name in the comments field. Please put “SPL Predictor” in the Subject field.

New entrants must register with the Clydesdale Bank Score Selector website. After registering and paying your entrance fee, you will receive an invite to join the Tartan Army Sunshine Appeal mini league.

Entries will be accepted at any point in the season.

Rules

Your entry must meet the Clydesdale Bank Score Selector rules.

Individuals are responsible for joining the Sunshine Appeal Mini-League.

The Clydesdale Bank Score Selector table will be final.

Any complaint regarding scoring should be addressed to the Clydesdale Bank Score Selector.

Any Mini-League members found not to have submitted an entry fee will be removed.

Individuals are responsible for ensuring that their predictions are made on time.

In the event of a tie for the monthly prize, a tie-break question will be set.
